Four people are behind bars after an armed robbery in the Rye Patch Community on Jan. 16th. They include 2 males (Matthew B. McMillian -26 and Kyle J Sedgwick - 19), 1 female (Jessica Chisholm - 18), and one 16 year old juvenile. Multiple warrants have been issued for each of these offenders and they are all still currently incarcerated.
One male arrested for Drug Possession and Attempting to Elude. A deputy tried to stop Eli V Brock on Jan. 26th for a busted winshield. As Brock pulled onto the side of the road he drove off a ramp, crashing his car in the ditch. The deputy could smell drug aroma from the car as he approached. The offender bolted from him and starting running down the highway. The TASER was deployed, quickly ending the pursuit which led to Brock's apprehension. He is currently still in jail on a marijuana possession charge and numerous traffic citations.
Around 3AM on January 31st two black males were arrested on drug charges on Hwy 301 in Ludowici after being pulled over for an equipment violation. The first subject, Michael Williams of Hinesville is being charged with Possession, Driving on a Suspended License, and Obsruction of a LEO, after he tried to flee on foot as he was being placed in the back seat of a patrol car. His passenger Edward Jones of Ludowici is being charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute.
Both Marijuana and the dangerous drug XTC were confiscated during this incident.
ADAM MANNING is now behind bars. He was arrested on the night of Jan. 29th by a LCSD deputy. Manning is wanted by M.A.C.E. on a drug warrant. He was recently featured in an article in the Coastal Courier relating to this warrant for arrest.
Parolee ERIC STEPHENS has also been arrested. Stephens has been eluding LCSD deputies since September. He was wanted on a Parole Violation.
We've also arrested a couple other individuals over the past couple weeks on burglary, child support, and Failure To Appear warrants.
