C.H.A.M.P.S. Program for L. C. Fifth Graders
The 2009 Edition of the Georgia Sheriff's Association C. H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) Program kicked off this past Monday JAN 26th for Long County Fifth Graders. The Sheriff's Office currently has a certified Bryan County Deputy teaching the class with no expense to Long County other than fuel. Mr. David was sworn in about a week prior to starting the program and we know he will have fun educating our kids on good habits and general safety practices.
